George has been a Commissioner of the Schaumburg Park District since 2000. He serves on the Joint Advisory and Finance committees. He is a member of the Airport Advisory Committee, the Village of Schaumburg's TIF board, and the Northwest Special Recreation Association Long Range Finance Committee. He has a BA in Political Science and an MBA. He has more than 25 years in local government serving as Village Manager of both Schaumburg and Hoffman Estates. He has served on various committees and associations, including the Illinois Municipal League, Northwest Municipal Conference, Metro Manager Board and Illinois Airport Association Board. He currently serves on the Board Development, Program, Nominating, Joint Conference and Joint Legislative committees, and is a member of the Great Lakes Regional Council.

Wally has been a Commissioner of the Mundelein Park and Recreation District from 1982 to 1986 and from 1997 to present, and has served multiple terms President, Vice President and Treasurer. He retired as Chief of Police for the Village of Lakemoor Police Department in 2009 after serving eight years, and retired from the Mundelein Police Department in 2001 after serving 29 years. He has served in the U.S. Army and the Illinois National Guard. His civic involvement include Rotary Club, Lions Club, Mundelein Little League, Mundelein Girl Scouts, Moraine Girl Scout Council, Mundelein Main Street, Santa Maria Athletic Board and Parents Club. Organization memberships include NRPA, Lake County Metropolitan Enforcement Group, Northern Illinois Police Crime Lab, Lake County and McHenry County Chiefs of Police, Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police, President of the Mundelein Police Pension Board, Commander Mundelein American Post 867 and Mundelein Days Commission. He currently serves on the Board Development, Nominating, Joint Editorial and Joint Legislative committees, and is a member of the Great Lakes Regional Council.

Colette has been a Commissioner of the Elmhurst Park District since 1997 and served as President from 1999-2003. She has served on the board of South East Association for Special Parks and Recreation (SEASPAR), Westmont Chamber of Commerce, Elmhurst Park District Citizens Advisory Committee, Ray Graham Association and IPRA’s Recreation Section. She has a BS in Park & Recreation Administration and worked for various park districts for 17 years before becoming a park board commissioner. She takes an active and aggressive role in seeking outside funding sources to help the district maintain and continue to be operational at a top-notch level. She has been very active and successful in working with legislators in Springfield on park district legislation. She serves on the Board Development, Honors and Resolutions, Nominating and Joint Legislative committees, and is a member of the Great Lakes Regional Council.

Don has been a Commissioner of the Oak Lawn Park District since 1977 and has served six terms as President. He is one of the founding members of the Oak Lawn Parks Foundation, serving as Vice-chairman for the past seven years. Don served as a Commissioner on the Planning and Development board for the Village of Oak Lawn for more than 30 years. He has been a speaker at past IAPD/IPRA conferences and the NRPA Congress. He serves on the Program, Membership, Honors and Resolutions and Nominating committees. He is a member of the Great Lakes Regional Council and serves on the NRPA Citizen Branch Executive Committee.

Linda has been a Commissioner of the Crete Park District since 1997 and has served multiple terms as President and Vice-president. Her local involvement includes serving Crete Monee Middle School PTO President and Liaison, Crete Monee Six Grade Center PTO President, Crete Elementary PTO President and various committee Chairs, District 201U Leadership Committee, District 201U Discipline Committee, District 201U Mentor Program, Angels on Assignment, Crete Lions Club and Crete Bulldog Cheerleading coach. Linda holds a Bachelors Degree in Art Education and teaches seventh grade at Crete Monee Middle School. She currently serves on the Program Committee.

Joe has been a Commissioner of the Champaign Park District since 2003 and has served as President and Vice-president. He is currently in his second six-year term on the board. He passionately seeks to promote open space and natural areas locally and statewide. In addition to his service to the Champaign Park District, he also serves on the boards of the Champaign County Design and Conservation Foundation, and the Prairie Rivers Network. He helped found and continues to volunteer with the Boneyard Creek Community Day effort. He currently serves on the Research Advisory Council.

In addition to serving as a Trustee for the Springfield Park District, Bill’s community service extends to the Springfield Chapter of Frontiers Internationals, University of Illinois-Springfield Presidential Advisory Committee and the Springfield Golf Club. Bill served as Executive Director of the Springfield Housing Authority from 1997 until his retirement in 2005. In 1979 he was asked by then-mayor Mike Houston to be the Director of Community and Economic Affairs for the City of Springfield. Bill has always been in community development and served on the Springfield Housing Authority Board of Directors from 1984-1989. He was the Director of Housing Programs for the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs from 1991-1997 before assuming the position of Executive Director of the Springfield Housing Authority.

Tom has been a Commissioner of the Frankfort Park District since 1999 and currently serves as Board President. Over the past seven years he has worked with the park board to obtain more than a million dollars from the OSLAD program and has obtained over 150 additional acres for the district. He helped start the Main Street program in the Frankfort historic district and served as President for two years. Tom has served on various committees in village government, and has worked closely with the mayor and trustees to improve recreational opportunities and open lands for village residents. He has been involved with Ducks Unlimited for more than 30 years.

Carolyn graduated from Tennessee State University in Nashville with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and received a Masters degree in Counseling from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. Carolyn taught in the elementary schools for 27 years and was a counselor in the East Saint Louis School District #189 for 15 years. She retired from the school district in 2003. She is an active member of the Greater New Hope Baptist Church, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Venus Temple 1042 and President of the East Saint Louis Park District where she has been a commissioner for nearly 12 years. She is the former Police Commissioner for the City of Centreville, and she previously held the elected position of City Clerk for the City of Centreville. She currently serves on the Honors and Resolutions Committee and the Nominating Committee.

David has been a commissioner for the Itasca Park District since 2001. He is the park board liaison to the local Cub and Boy Scout troops, Soccer Advisory Committee and district construction projects. He was instrumental in the successful 2006 referendum for the Itasca Waterpark and OSLAD Grant recipient for the award-winning Franzen Park. Dave has served on the boards of the Itasca Athletic Association (IAA) and Boy Scout Troop 65. He has been involved with Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts for more than 15 years and has been a coach for various park district sports and IAA Baseball. He has been an active member of the Itasca Lions Club for more than 20 years. He currently serves on the Joint Legislative Committee.

Jerri-Lynn has been a Commissioner for the Alsip Park District since 2005 and has served as President and Vice President. She is a graduate of Lewis University, serves as Vice Chairman of the Alsip Planning and Zoning Commission, and devoted years to the Village of Alsip's annual Summerfest and the Friends of the Alsip-Merrionette Park Library. She has been a coach for various park district teams, including girls softball and soccer, as well as Alsip Little League. For many years she served as a Girl Scout Leader. She volunteers regularly at her children's schools and is a member of the Parent Booster Club board. She currently serves on the Program Committee and the Joint Legislative Committee.

Diane has been a Commissioner of the Westmont Park District since 1978. She enjoys working with local government on community events including the Taste of Westmont, Holly Days and Independence Day celebrations. She has worked with Village Trustees to acquire park land including Ty Warner Park, Westmont Skate Park, Twin Lakes Woods and Twin Lakes Golf Course. She is an advocate for government bodies working together for the benefit of residents. Volunteering has always been a part of her life. She has been a Girl Scout leader, Vice-president of the school's Athletic Association and Vice-president of the Homeowner's Association. She has served on the Honors and Resolutions.

Nate has been a Commissioner of the Rockford Park District since 1997. He is a former Director of Secondary Education for the Rockford School District and served as the district’s Educational Ombudsman. He retired in 1995 after serving as a Middle School Principal for 20 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from South Dakota Wesleyan University and a Masters of Science degree from Northern Illinois University. Nate works part-time for the Rockford School District in the Department of Research, Federal Programs and Grants. He serves on the boards of the Northern Illinois Community Foundation, On the Water Front, Inc., the Golden Apple Foundation and St. Paul Academy School Board, and the Rockford Community Schools Initiative.

Dewey graduated from DePaul University and later earned a Juris Doctor from the DePaul College of Law in 1965 and practicing law since. Between 1986 and 1992 he served as a member of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County Board of Commissioners. In 1994, he was elected to serve as President . During his tenure, he was proud to have excelled in organizational and fiscal leadership, involvement in land acquisition, encouragement of natural resource management and the development of high quality facilities. As President of an open space agency, he looks to creating places where children can immerse themselves in nature and experience the wonders of their natural surroundings. He currently serves on the Nominating Committee.

Chris grew up with the Decatur Park District's activities and has been a Commissioner for the Decatur Park District for 9 years, serving as President from 2004-2006 . He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math Education from Eastern Illinois University, and an MBA degree and Master of Science in Taxation degrees from the University of Illinois. He is the Director of State Government Relations for Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM). He is a member of the Audit Committee for the American Diabetes Association and previously served on the association's Finance and Fundraising Committees. Chris is the Past-chairman of the Administrative Team and Finance Committee for First Christian Church in Decatur. He was the 2005 recipient of IAPD's Rising Star Award . He currently serves on the Joint Legislative Committee.

Frank was elected to the Dundee Township Park District in 1999 for a six-year term, and was re-elected in 2005 for another six-year term. He has attended numerous IAPD Legislative Conferences and Legal Symposiums and has attended every IAPD/IPRA annual conference since 1999. From 2003 to 2007 he served as a Village of East Dundee Trustee (Chairman of Legal and Ordinance committees). Additionally, Frank served as a Chairman of the Village of East Dundee Zoning Board and Historic Commission, Co-chairman of the Village of East Dundee Planning and Zoning Commission, Co-Chairman of School District 300 Tax Advisory Committee and member of the School District 300 Citizen Leadership Committee. He also served as Treasurer of the Dundee Carpentersville Junior Charger Football Board of Directors and Treasurer of St. Catherine's Beacon Fund Capital Drive Committee.
